My Story

I started Cotter Collective LLC after more than two decades working in hospitality and event management.  Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: Senior Event Planner, Director of Catering and Conference Services, Director of Sales, and Operations Manager. Each role taught me that the key to exceptional experiences lies in the details and in the people behind them. I have led a vast variety of events from corporate conferences and incentive programs to large-scale social events, to Spartan Races, rodeos, weddings of all religions, car shows, from groundbreaking ceremonies to grand openings, inaugurations, holiday parties, and the list goes on and on.

Through Cotter Collective, I bring that same level of professionalism and care to every project, offering virtual assistant and event planning services that help my clients feel supported, organized, and confident. Whether I’m managing inboxes and schedules, coordinating logistics, or curating memorable events, my goal is simple: to make your workload lighter and your outcomes stronger.

I believe that details meet dedication and that partnership is the foundation of success. I take pride in learning how my clients work best and tailoring my approach to fit their needs. With a calm, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for bringing structure to complexity, I will help you stay focused on what truly matters: growing your business and creating meaningful impact.

My Personal Story:

My path led me to a life I wholeheartedly love. I live with my husband JJ, our two amazing children Jaxson & Tenley, and our three dogs Karma, Booker and Pringle in Queen Creek, Arizona. I moved to Arizona a lifetime ago to attend graduate school at Arizona State University and never looked back.  I’ll be honest, I am like so many and STILL not an “Arizonian” even after 26 years.

My career plans have changed over the years, from being a teacher of dance and performing, to working hospitality in hotels and at a western catering venue, and developing a path into the world of event planning.

I am that person who doesn’t shy away from making eye contact or speaking to complete strangers.  Acknowledging others by smiling does not cost you anything and can truly brighten a person’s day. At my core, I’m a helper. Whether it’s lending a hand to someone in the grocery store, caring for my child when they’re under the weather, or assisting a client who needs a last-minute registration audit, I’m always driven by the same instinct, to help wherever I can.
